Our club was first formed in 1890 as "The Ipswich & West Moreton Photographic Society"

12th July 1901 - Changed to "Ipswich Amateur Photographic Society"

July 1953 - Incorporated as
"Ipswich Photographic Society"

Meetings for the Ipswich Photographic Society are held at the Old Courthouse, Ipswich (corner of Roderick & East streets)on the second and fourth Tuesday night of every month, commencing at 7.20pm.

The second Tuesday night of the month is dedicated to competition/judging where members are asked to submit photographs to be judged and critiqued by outside judges.

Workshops on the fourth Tuesday night vary from “getting to know your camera” to different photography techniques and photographing in different situations.

Weekend Shoots are also organized for networking with fellow members. Details can be found ‘here’ or via the calendar tab.

Visitors are very welcome, and we look forward to meeting you at the club.
